November Meeting

Karen Trombley, Georgia State Coordinator for the Quilts of Valor Foundation, will be speaking on her role with QOV and the growth of the program in recent years.

We will get a chance to hear from David English and Dave Gartner about their backgrounds and their work with Veterans Helping Veterans, a nonprofit which aims to strengthen emotional, mental, and physical health among Vets.

Four quilts will then be awarded and we will have the opportunity to hear from those four honored Veterans before a small reception with a chance to mingle and chat with the Honorees, guests, and our guild members.

Please join us in making these Vets feel just how truly grateful we all are for their service.

Please note the meeting will begin at 1:00...social time AFTER the meeting.  

Quilts of Valor Sew Day

Thursday, November 19, 2026, 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM

Join us for our Annual Quilts of Valor Sew Day. Margie and Sonya will have kits to sew OR bring one of your own to work on.  

Mid-way through the day, we will stop for a satisfying lunch before getting back to our red white and blue projects!

There is no cost for this workshop...just bring along your sewing materials and skills and help a Vet feel appreciated and loved.
